July Discussion Groups Address Professional Development, Parenting Teens and Autism

“Career Activism,” the final part of our three-phase professional development online discussion group, takes place on Thursday, July 10, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. (ET. The moderator of this series is Linda Dominguez, CEO and Executive Strategist of Executive Coaching and Resource Network, Inc., and author of How to Shine at Work. Participants can get expert tips to help them actively take control of their careers and develop a career path based on their skills and values. Response has been so good that we are planning our next professional development discussion group for September, when the theme will be effective communication and networking.

In addition, there will be an online moderated discussion group on Wednesday, July 16, regarding how to maintain one's emotional and physical wellbeing while caring for someone with autism. The discussion will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (ET).

A third discussion group will take place on Tuesday, July 22, for parents of teens who wish to help their children consider volunteerism opportunities and social activism. The group also will address spirituality and political views. It will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. (ET).
