New Home Energy Guides Are Must-Reads for Homeowners

With the expected rise in the cost of home heating oil and other forms of energy this winter, LifeCare has added two new educational guides to its online library:

	“A LifeCare Guide: Do It Yourself Home Energy Audits” offers tips on how to perform a simple home energy audit to help you assess how much energy your home consumes and determine what measures you can take to make your home more energy efficient.
	“A LifeCare Guide: Save Money When Heating and Cooling Your Home” shows readers how to combine proper equipment maintenance and upgrades with appropriate insulation, weatherization, and thermostat settings so that they can cut energy bills and pollution output in half.

Clients who want access to these guides can find them in the Daily Needs portlet on the LifeCare web site. After entering the Daily Needs portlet, click on the “Energy Efficient Home” link on the left side of the screen; then look under the “PDF Library” heading for the guides. And of course, our specialists are available to send these publications to members either electronically or via mail.
