Letter from the President
Dear Friends:
Happy holidays!
This is a busy time of year at work and at home for many of us. So I wanted
to remind you that LifeCare is here to make your life—and the lives of your employees—a
little easier to manage. We can help with temporary child and adult care arrangements, which
can be a real advantage when schools and care centers close … we can provide a variety
of educational materials on dealing with stress or the holiday blues … we can even help
you stick to a budget or avoid putting on those unwanted holiday pounds. See
the article “Deck the Halls” in the HR Info section for additional ways that we can
be of service.
Those of you who will be visiting older loved ones may find James
Weil’s column (The Weil Perspective) to be of special interest. In it, he offers tips
on assessing your aging loved ones’ health and well being and determining whether they need
some type of ongoing living assistance. And don’t forget that we can help you create customized
holiday promotional materials to remind employees that we’re here to help 24 hours a day,
seven days a week, straight through the holidays.
This is also the perfect time to start mapping out a proactive communications
strategy for the new year. When you do, please consider incorporating some of the new marketing
materials that we’ve developed (featured in the previous
issue of this newsletter). Companies that are using the new materials are already seeing
significantly higher utilization rates. Your account manager will be delighted to work with
you to create an effective and comprehensive plan, as well as special communications pieces
that will grab your employees’ attention and educate them about LifeCare services all year
long. Just contact your account manager to get started.
Once again, on behalf of the entire LifeCare family, have a safe and happy
holiday season!
Sincerely,

John B. Place, President
