Monthly Polls Identify Absenteeism and College Funding Issues
LifeCare's latest monthly polls reveal that:
Absenteeism
 |
65 percent of respondents report that they miss work, arrive
late, leave early or take time off an average of zero to two hours per month due to
family or personal issues;
|
 |
17 percent say they do so three to five hours per month;
|
 |
10 percent say they do so five to 10 hours per month;
|
 |
and five percent say they miss more than 10 hours per month. |
College Funds
 |
33 percent of respondents say that they have no plan for funding
their children’s college education;
|
 |
28 percent say that their primary source of funding is a 529
Plan;
|
 |
18 percent identified stocks/bonds/mutual funds/CDs as their
primary source;
|
 |
17 percent identified personal and home equity loans;
|
 |
and two percent identified a Roth IRA. |
