The need for legal and financial services is on the rise: a 2002 study by the American Bar Association revealed that more than 70 percent of U.S. households had an issue during the previous year that might have led them to hire a lawyer.

To better support our client employees as they try to manage their increasingly complex responsibilities, LifeCare has significantly enhanced its legal and financial services to provide greater depth of service, increased value, and a higher degree of personalized assistance. Specifically, we now offer free consultations with attorneys and financial professionals—and, in an industry first, LifeCare no longer “warm-transfers” employees to our legal/financial partner for assistance. Our specialists now work directly with client employees from start to finish to:

Fully assess their legal and financial needs

Provide personalized referrals to local attorneys who will provide in-person or telephonic consultations on up to three new legal topics per year

Match employees with financial counselors who can provide telephonic consultations to assist with credit repair, debt management and debt consolidation

Follow up with employees to ensure their needs are fully met.

Plus, our specialists will inform employees when this benefit relates to other life events (e.g., an employee calling about elder care needs might benefit from a legal consultation; an employee calling about college planning may benefit from a financial consultation; etc.).

This enhanced level of personalized service is the result of an alliance between LifeCare and our legal/financial partner. Together, we have developed technology that enables us to integrate our case management systems for more seamless and high quality service delivery. In addition to developing integrated technology solutions, LifeCare specialists have undergone intensive training on how to best match employees with attorneys or financial counselors from Legal Access Plans' vast network. No other work/life provider offers this level of seamless assistance.
