Letter from the CEO
Dear Friends:

Happy New Year! On behalf of everyone at LifeCare, we hope that 2008 brings you and your organization great happiness and success.

As I look back over 2007, I'm gratified to say that it was a year of significant achievement for LifeCare and our clients. Many were named to various “best employer” lists for their superior work/life efforts, many took part in advancing the work/life cause through their own innovative programs, and many helped us to advance LifeCare's services through sharing ideas and dialoguing with us. Here are just some of the service enhancements we made in 2007:

We introduced Care Connection, which provides individuals with social networking tools enabling them to easily connect with family, friends, and co-workers when life gets challenging.

We introduced a new work/life blog and monthly podcast that enable employees to better interact with our subject matter experts and have enhanced access to tips, strategies and ideas on stress management, parenting, health and wellness strategies, etc.

We revamped the HR section of our web site so that it now contains the latest information on employee relations, workplace issues, work/life resources, utilization reports, and information on LifeCare programs, webinars, etc. We also added Client Connections—a new work/life listserv where HR professionals can network with their peers and exchange information about work/life best practices.

And we launched a “Lean Six Sigma” quality assurance practice to achieving the fastest rate of improvement in customer satisfaction, cost, quality, process speed, and investment capital.

I can assure you that we will do even more in 2008 to improve the quality and overall value of our services. Once again, have a prosperous and successful new year.
